God’s Time Out: From Dark to Light

We experienced the darkness of Good Friday, we waited through Holy Saturday and we celebrated Christ’s resurrection this Easter Sunday. This transition is truly from the darkest of days to the most glorious of days.

This year, the darkness is deeper. Because of the time out we are all facing due to of COVID19 we have had to lean into the darkness more profoundly than other years perhaps. But, that also makes the glorious light of Christ’s resurrection even more beautiful. We yearn for the sun, we yearn for the light, and we embrace the hope of the resurrection even more deeply this year.

REFLECTION: As you reflect on the hope brought forward on Easter, what are the deepest hopes of your heart? How can you help to manifest them through the light of Christ in our world?
