When I had my times out I began to notice how much the little things mattered and gave me great hope. Knowing that someone was coming to visit or bringing me soup was not just something to look forward to, but gave me hope for a better day, a better tomorrow.
I noticed so much hope today, as people are talking about the potential reopening of different states from this pandemic. In my meetings and conversations today people are talking about the possibilities of better days to come, of what they are going to do; they are hopeful.
Hope is so powerful. It leads to elements of peace and joy. It allows us to trust in the future. God offers us hope continuously, if we but turn and rely on Him.
REFLECTION: Do you feel a glimmer of hope today? How might you turn to God each day to be filled with Hope?
