When I had my time outs, I began to really see the wonderful people around me. People I had always known, but perhaps had not appreciated that way I should have. The friends and family who would run by with soup or take me to chemo or drive me to book club.
Collectively, during the pandemic, we are beginning to really see people as well, aren’t we? The healthcare workers, the grocery clerks, those supplying PPE, the list is long. Personally, who do you see during this time?
REFLECTION: Consider those in your life who are showing up now in a different way for you? Perhaps they are running to the store for you or calling to check on you? Can you offer up a prayer for them? How can you let them know how much you appreciate them?
